Local Artists "Give the Gift of Time" For The Friends Program Annual Friends Finding Friends Event

CONCORD, NH - April 20, 2006- Merrimack County Savings Bank is proud to be the lead sponsor of The Friends Program annual awareness and fundraiser campaign.

The Friends Program has announced that 59 local artists have donated their time to design 48 beautiful handmade clocks, and 11 functional pieces of furniture including mirrors, tables and other pieces of art. Starting April 28 through June 9, the furniture will be displayed at many Main Street locations in Concord. The bank will display several pieces in its 89 N. Main Street lobby.

"The beautiful artistic expression represented by the local artists is fabulous, states Linda Fanaras, co-chair of the Friends Finding Friends event. Every piece of art is unique ranging from clocks for baby rooms to tables for formal living rooms, states, Ms. Fanaras. We hope that individuals consider attending the auction this year to view the beautiful pieces of art and to give back to the community."

Maps are available at participating stores. You can own one of these beautifully designed handmade clocks, mirrors, tables and other pieces of art.
