| Boys & Girls Club "Champions for Kids Breakfast" Champions for Kids Breakfast This fundraiser event takes place at Grappone Conference Center in Concord. It is a free light breakfast, which includes coffee, juice, muffins and fruit. The purpose of the fundraiser event is to help people learn more about the Club and it's programs and benefits. Attendance is by personal invitation by a volunteer. Attendants will be asked to consider making a contribution as a group (no pressure). There is no minimum and no maximum gift requested. More than anything, we want our guests to find out about the great programs that their contribution provides for kids in our community. This presentation of the Club's programs is inspiring! Over the last three years, these events have combined to raise over $665,000 to support our kids and programs! | Five Rivers Conservation Trust Paddle Five Rivers Conservation Trust, Merrimack County Savings Bank, and Quickwater Canoe invite you to participate in a day on the Merrimack River. No cost to participate, but contributions to Five Rivers at check-in are greatly appreciated. Time: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. put–in 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. take-out Where: Put-in: County Farm, Boscawen (10 mi. +/-) Put-in: Welch Park, Concord (5 mi. +/-) Take-out: Quickwater location on Hannah Dustin Drive Pre-registration: Requested, on the 5R web-site and at Merrimack County Savings Bank Check-in: Five Rivers will staff a check-in table at each site 11:00- 1:30 Boats: Bring your own or rent a boat, life-jacket, paddles, from Quickwater Canoe: www.quickwatercanoe.com Each paddler is responsible for making their own arrangements for a boat.
