Red Cross Blood Drive at our Contoocook Branch
Concord, NH – June 7, 2010 – Merrimack County Savings Bank will host its third American Red Cross Blood Drive. The event will be held at the Contoocook branch, 35 Kearsarge Avenue, on Wednesday June 30th from 9am to 2:30pm. Appointments may be made at 746-6713. Walk-ins are also welcome to donate.
Blood saves lives – and it is always needed. Every two seconds someone in America needs blood. The Merrimack’s 2009 Blood Drive was so successful that it achieved Platinum Level in the Northern New England Region of the American Red Cross’ Life Share program. This achievement is a direct result of blood donors.
“We are pleased to be able to offer our space and resources for this worthy cause and we’re excited to have produced such great results for the Red Cross,” said Fran Douglas, branch manager.
